249K views · 13K reactions | Arguably the best tasting meat roast I’ve ever had 💯 The perfect roast for your next holiday gathering. Can be made ahead of time and frozen. You can use any choice of meat roast. Brisket, French roast, minute steak, etc. I’m using a beautiful marbleized piece of Teva Glatt kosher Angus beef chuck roast conveniently found at Costco. Ingredients for your meat: •4 Lb. Chuck roast •1/4 cup oil (any oil of your choice) •3 tbsp. salt •2 tsp. black pepper •2 tsp. paprika •2 tsp. onion powder •1 tsp. garlic powder Ingredients for your dish: •1/4 cup oil •2 large sliced onions •2 full leeks washed and cut into small rounds •4 carrots peeled and cut into sticks •2 celery ribs cut into sticks •2 whole garlic heads •about 12-15 baby potatoes peel on •1/4 cup honey (can be subbed with maple, or silan too) •4 cups water or chicken broth Directions: In a large pot, heat your oil and add your sliced onions. Wash and pat dry your meat and place it in a large bowl. Season your meat accordingly and rub it all around your meat. Once your onions are translucent, add your leeks and sauté together for about five minutes. Make a well in the center of your pot and add your meat in the center. On a medium flame, you will sear the meat on both sides. Lower the flame to low and allow the meat to release its juices. Cover and cook for 20 minutes on low. Add your carrots, celery and garlic heads and your honey water mixture. Cover and cook for one hour. At this time you can taste and adjust the seasonings if needed. Add your washed baby potatoes and cover for an additional hour. Place a piece of parchment paper and foil on top and seal it well. Placing a preheated oven at 375° for a final 30 minutes. You can remove the covers for an additional 10 minutes. 2.5K views · 92 reactions | BBQ better than my husband 🎬This video was produced by Network Media LLC and Kiera’s Southern Cooking | By The Simple Dish | Alright, y’all. Today, we’ve got our sales here. Two of these pork loins and these are just plain from the Costco that I’m putting down in my crock pot that I greased up nicely. Got my here chili sauce and I’m going to do the whole entire bottle and I’m pouring it right on top of those little tenderloins. Now, today y’all, we’re trying to give us the best flavor of this meat because we’ve got a nice treat for everyone in the house. Now, if you want to throw in a little water or something in here, you can but I’m not going to. Adding on next, some yellow mustard and I am just going to give this. There’s no real measurements here for my, you know, little meal. I’m just doing what I know and what I think we going to like and that’s just based on trial and error y’all. So, we’re going to get us good little squirts, some mustard. Kinda create a little pattern. Look at that. That’s so cute y’all and then I’m throwing in one entire bottle. This is twenty-8 ounces of some sweet baby Ray’s. Whoo. Honey barbecue sauce and I’m just going to start filling in all around the entire crock pot and now I did spray this because these are going to have to sit in here for a little bit longer than a normal. So, we’re going to just make sure that nothing gets stuck on there. Once you get all that and now, we’re throwing in some tomato ketchup and yes, I just say tomato ketchup because y’all, I don’t know why, okay? I know ketchup is from tomatoes but hey, tomato ketchup. That’s what it says on the bottle. Little Washer Sister Sauce. Just a few little dabs and then, I don’t have any Aone. We got the Kroger version, some steak sauce and I’m just going kind of sprinkle not sprinkle drizzle maybe that on top alright we’re going to just for a little extra little black pepper and that’s just going to give us the perfect blend of all these flavors Now, It’s time y’all. Guess what? Get our little lid on. We’re going to set this baby on high. It’ll be on there for about four hours but we just want to make sure that that pork is cooked all the way through so it might be five but y’all then we get to have us some nice pulled pork. Alright, y’all. You ready to see the magic? Look at that. Y’all, I know it don’t look like much right here right now but y’all just wait until I break this baby open. Oh gosh, that just split right on in half. Y’all, we’re going to have to get this all shredded up. Look at that. Alright, let me get this all shredded up for y’all. Alright. So, we got most of it shredded up. There might still be some larger chunks but that’s okay. I got my trusty King’s Hawaiian rolls. We’re going to have to get ourselves just one of these babies. Get one of these babies on out and I’m just going to take one and I’m going to do my little trick where you stab it with the fork. Open it on up and y’all I’m just going to make me a good little pulled pork sandwich. I was going to throw an extra little sauce on it but I think I can eat it just like it is because that sauce we made is perfect. Okay. Don’t burn yourself but enjoy yourself. Mm.
