But cut it up yourself and it is only $31.99 Canadian per pound. This prime rib roast is 16.8 pounds is about $540. I got 8 2.25 inch steaks at 30 oz each so $68 a steak. Yes it is more expensive then the ungraded ribeye at Costco but look at the marbling! This steak is insane! So tender and juicy. The fat is so well marbled and one of the best steaks I have ever tasted!! So if you go to a fancy steak house this steak would probably cost $350 plus tax and tip and easily pushing towards $500. Who the hell has $500 to spend on 1 steak!?! Save your money and make it at home. By the way.. why do steak houses charge $20 for each side?
